Cats Museum is a unique cultural project born from the combination of years of experience in museums and galleries and a lifelong love of cats.
Imagine an art gallery, a science museum, and an immersive experience space: all under one roof… shared with real resident cats, free to live and “run” the museum on their own terms.
After working in the cultural sector across Italy and the UK, we decided to bring to life an idea that truly reflects who we are: a museum dedicated to the feline world, blending contemporary art, pop culture, literature, science, and animal welfare.
An open, playful, and accessible space where humans are guests, and cats take center stage.
The project began to take shape in 2023, when we started collecting artworks dedicated to black cats, in memory of our beloved Candy. What started as a personal tribute soon turned into a broader vision: to give space to artists and stories that revolve around the feline universe, and to offer the public a cultural experience like no other.
Cats Museum is still in development, but we’re working every day to make it real—through digital exhibitions, artist collaborations, and editorial content. Our dream? To open the first cat museum in Italy, in a city that has always belonged to cats: Trieste.
